Zetatech in Cyberpunk: Cyberware, Cyberdecks, Drones and Aerial Vehicles
The short version
Zetatech is a corporation from Cupertino, California that makes cyberware, cyberdecks and computer hardware, and since 2045 also aircraft and drones. It is a second-tier player that outlasted bigger names, and you meet its products everywhere in Cyberpunk 2077.

What Zetatech is#
Zetatech is a computer and chipware company that started small in Cupertino, California. By 2013 and 2020 its catalog ran from cyberware to cyberdecks to ordinary computers. It is a second-tier corporation next to the megacorporations, the kind that sells to everyone.
Its slogan is 'Think ahead'. Its Night City presence is real but not flashy, with an office in the Zetatech Building on Berkeley Avenue in 2077.
History in short#
During the First Corporate War, Zetatech sided with Orbital Air and launched a large Net-based attack on Euro Business Machines. EBM repelled it and knocked Zetatech out of the war in 2004.
The Fourth Corporate War was kinder to it. Rivals were weakened or gone, and Zetatech picked up government contracts in the Rebuilding era after the Time of the Red. Since 2045 it has spread into avionics, and its aerodyne gunships and security, combat and utility drones are its most recognizable products.
What it sells#
Product lists differ by edition. Here is what each game or book puts on the shelf.
- Cyberpunk 2020: Cyberdecks such as the D2-3000 and Parraline 5750, plus equipment like BodyComp and CompuMods.
- Cyberpunk RED: Cyberdecks (Kaliya, MicroMate, Parraline 6000), the Porta-Printer, the Grade A and Grade A-Plus Agents, and aircraft such as the AeroVox, AeroCop, Destination, Herakles and Moray.
- Cyberpunk 2077 cyberware: Sandevistan Mk.1 to Mk.3, Berserk Mk.4 and Mk.5, Fortified Ankles, Lynx Paws and the Sigma K.54 cyberarm. The Sandevistan page has the stats.
- Cyberpunk 2077 vehicles and drones: The Atlus, used by Trauma Team and N54 News, and the Surveyor, used by Kang Tao and MaxTac. Drones include the Bombus, Canopy and Octant.
Zetatech in Cyberpunk 2077#
In 2077, Zetatech is a world leader in cyberware and aerial transport, with quality at every price. It also runs a major shipping operation.
V meets Zetatech mostly as a brand on a menu. At a ripperdoc, its Sandevistan sits next to the Dynalar and Qiant units. For the full list of what you can install, see cyberware list.
Fixer's notes: using Zetatech at the table#
Zetatech is the perfect supplier. It is neither too big to talk to nor too small to hurt you. A fixer who needs a drone, a cyberdeck or a company plane can plausibly get it from Zetatech without involving Arasaka or Militech, and that is the hook.
Opinion: it is a good employer for a one-shot. A rival of Zetatech wants its next product stolen, or a Zetatech rep wants to quietly retrieve a lost prototype drone from the Badlands. Nobody at the table needs a lore lecture to understand why this matters.
In the 2020 edition, Zetatech's own military kit is only of moderate power. It can arrange heavier hardware, but not in a hurry. Do not give it a private army on a whim.
If you only know Zetatech from the game, the Cyberpunk RED books give the corporation a longer paper trail.
