Cyberpunk: Edgerunners Soundtrack: Every Theme Song, the Score and the 2077 Radio Tracks
The short version
Edgerunners opens with "This Fffire" by Franz Ferdinand and ends on "Let You Down" by Dawid Podsiadło, with a score by Akira Yamaoka. The song everyone asks about is "I Really Want to Stay at Your House" by Rosa Walton, which also plays on a radio station in Cyberpunk 2077.

The two theme songs#
The opening is "This Fffire" by Franz Ferdinand. The ending is "Let You Down", written for the series by Polish singer Dawid Podsiadło, and it is also the title of episode 1. The ending has a music video directed by Ilya Kuvshinov.
Our read: the opening sells the tone of the whole show in a single song, and the ending is the one you will still be humming at 3 a.m.
"I Really Want to Stay at Your House"#
This is the song people mean when they say the music of Edgerunners. It was performed by Rosa Walton, one half of the duo Let's Eat Grandma, and it plays at the end of episode 2. Director Hiroyuki Imaishi had it in his head for that spot, and thought what it did to him would work in the show.
Inside the Cyberpunk universe the song is credited to an artist named Hallie Coggins. In Cyberpunk 2077 it plays on 98.7 Body Heat Radio, and it plays when V and a romantic partner dance in a rented apartment.
Watch for: in Phantom Liberty with the Chinese dub, V sings a small verse of it during the Four Score and Seven quest if you choose the wait option at the basketball courtyard in Tranquil Terrace.
Akira Yamaoka's score#
The series' composer is Akira Yamaoka. The original series soundtrack came out on October 27, 2023, with scores by Yamaoka (including unreleased ones), Marcin Przybyłowicz and P.T. Adamczyk, plus the opening and ending themes. It has 14 tracks.
Two of Yamaoka's cues share names with episodes, "Like a Boy" and "Lucky You". The track list also has "Whatever Choom, Like I Give a Sh*t" and, from Przybyłowicz and Adamczyk together, "Run to the Edge".
Songs that are also on 2077's radio#
Edgerunners used tracks from the game's in-universe radio stations. Two are confirmed in both: "I Really Want to Stay at Your House" (98.7 Body Heat Radio) and "Who's Ready for Tomorrow" by Rat Boy (107.3 Morro Rock Radio and 98.7 Body Heat Radio). Both are on the Cyberpunk 2077: Radio, Vol. 2 soundtrack.
Going the other way, Update 2.5 added a new radio station to the game, HKGN 102.0 FM, with a selection of tracks from the Edgerunners series. Opinion: it is the best way to hear the show's songs while you drive.
Season 2's songs#
Edgerunners 2 opens with "10:15 Saturday Night" by The Cure and ends with "Watson" by Petite Meller. CD Projekt Red gave director Kai Ikarashi complete freedom on the music, and he personally picked an artist he felt suited the series.
The season 2 soundtrack came out on October 20, 2026, the day of the premiere. It has songs by Petite Meller, Rico Nasty, BIJI, Piernikowski, DOUDOU and Corbin, and a separate score album by Tsuneo Imahori. Imahori, best known for Trigun, composed the original music for the series.
Fixer's notes#
If you want to hear the show in order, watch the episode guide first. Nine of the ten titles are borrowed pop songs, so the playlist is half the fun.
For the other side of the music story, see Cyberpunk 2077 and our page on how the show connects to the game.
