Judy is the best braindance editor in Watson and the person V goes to when the Evelyn Parker trail runs cold. She works out of Lizzie's Bar with the Mox, the gang of sex workers who defend each other, and she has a spare room and a lot of rules. Break one and you will hear about it.
Carla Tassara's performance earned her a British Academy Games Awards nomination in 2021.
Where she comes from#
Judy grew up in Laguna Bend, a small town flooded around 2062 when NC Dam Ltd. turned the valley into a reservoir. Her grandparents moved to Night City with her, hated it, and left for Oregon a few years later. She stayed and kept the apartment.
She worked as a braindance technician at Clouds, where she met Evelyn Parker, Tom Caldera and Maiko Maeda. Maiko became her girlfriend. Judy later moved to Lizzie's Bar and joined the Mox.
Her quests#
Her chain runs Both Sides, Now, Ex-Factor, Talkin' 'bout a Revolution, Pisces and Pyramid Song.

- Ex-Factor: Judy brings V to Clouds, where her ex Maiko Maeda runs things, and sets her revenge plan against the Tyger Claws running the place in motion.
- Talkin' 'bout a Revolution: Judy lays out a plan to take Clouds from the Tyger Claws, with Tom and Roxanne in the room. V can crash on her couch after a Relic malfunction.
- Pisces: The Clouds takeover. Maiko offers a different deal, and Judy's reaction branches on what V does with it.
- Pyramid Song: Judy takes V diving to the flooded streets of Laguna Bend. This is where the romance can start, and our read: it is the one to remember her by.
Spoilers What happens to her
V and Judy find Evelyn alive, but she takes her own life in Judy's bathtub. The Clouds plan starts from that grief. This is the moment that hits hardest in her whole arc.
If V accepts Maiko's bribe in Pisces and the Tyger Claws keep Clouds, Judy leaves Night City and cuts V off. If V refuses, Judy stays friendly. In the Pyramid Song dive she learns about the Relic and Johnny, and her goodbye call comes late in Nocturne Op55N1.
Epilogues vary by ending. A romanced Judy reunites with V in the Aldecaldos ending, and the other endings give her a video message, in the unromanced case only if Pyramid Song was finished on good terms.
Spoilers The Evelyn problem
Opinion: Judy is the character people bring up first when they argue 2077 has good writing, and Evelyn is why. V finds out what happened in Judy's own apartment, and Judy is the one who has to keep living there.
